About the Role:

We are seeking a high-performing, self-driven Senior Independent Recruiter who brings a unique blend of strategic talent acquisition expertise and a sales-oriented mindset to attract niche technology professionals across complex hiring environments. This role is ideal for someone passionate about fast-paced hiring, driving outcomes, and delivering specialized tech talent for high-impact roles in product development and engineering teams.

Key Challenges in the Role:

  • Hiring for high-caliber, full-stack development and engineering talent with deep product experience and aptitude for rapid learning.
  • Navigating talent wars with highly branded tech and product companies in the same space.
  • Delivering just-in-time hires to meet tight project timelines and avoid revenue losses (turnaround expected within 30 days).
  • Working within budget constraints while ensuring the right talent is attracted and closed at market-competitive offers.
  • Managing dynamic hiring requirements across multiple tech domains, often with evolving specifications.
  • Focusing on position-specific hiring, requiring a clear understanding of exact role specs and delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute rapid hiring strategies for highly specialized roles in software product engineering and technology.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales narrative to position the company and role as an attractive proposition for top-tier tech talent.
  • Conduct deep technical screening, partner with stakeholders for accurate role mapping, and drive offer conversions.
  • Utilize multiple hiring platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, AngelList, AI-based sourcing tools, niche job boards).
  • Leverage AI trends and digital hiring tools to enhance sourcing, filtering, and candidate engagement.
  • Lead and manage the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding with agility and ownership.
  • Maintain strong candidate engagement and communication, ensuring a positive hiring experience and high offer-acceptance rates.
  • Negotiate smartly with candidates, balancing budgetary constraints while ensuring competitive and fair compensation.
  • Provide hiring insights, analytics, and reports to stakeholders for continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.

Candidate Profile & Competencies:

  • Strategic mindset: Able to balance speed, quality, and cost in hiring strategy and execution.
  • Sales-oriented: Passionate about employer branding, role positioning, and talent persuasion.
  • Agility & adaptability: Comfortable with changing priorities and real-time hiring shifts.
  • Hands-on recruiter: Actively sources and engages talent using advanced search techniques and tools.
  • Innovative thinker: Applies creative outreach and hiring tactics to target passive and niche candidates.
  • People leader: Experienced in mentoring and coaching TA team members (if applicable) to meet aggressive goals.
  • Negotiator: Skilled in closing top talent within tight compensation frameworks.

Desired Background:

  • 8+ years of hands-on recruiting experience in product-based software or high-tech IT services companies (mid-sized preferred).
  • Strong exposure to engineering and full-stack hiring across multiple platforms and stacks.
  • Proven track record in closing roles within tight timelines and budget-sensitive conditions.
  • Experience leading or mentoring recruitment teams in a performance-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and candidates across functions and seniority levels.
