Job Description

Engineering Graduate with 5-8 years of experience in Active Network Design, Quantity Estimation & Design Review for the Airport Project.

 

Job Requirement:

• Candidate should have deep knowledge of the Airport Network requirement & have at least Airport Experience.
• Candidate should have hands on experience on the CISCO/JUNIPER/HP Active Devices. N/W certification from OEM is adding advantages.
• Knowledge of Firewalls, Network Active Devices, understanding on Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Understanding of the various design stage documentation and timeliness of submission of same.

Role & Responsibilities:

• The role includes designing Active Network system, review of vendor design documents for green field airport network.
• Develop and deploy plans and design of network systems that will meet project requirements for performance, security, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Review the vendors submissions (HLD & LLD) to ensure that proposed devices/ equipment solution meets the technical specification & project requirements.
• Work with vendor and client SME teams to deliver the most suitable solutions.
• Ensure that vendors design quantity doesnt cross the GFC quantity.
• Analyzing the network systems design to determine how well they meet the technical requirement, identifying potential problems of proposed technologies or system, so that solutions can be implemented before problems arise.
• Recommending hardware and software solutions based on clients specific needs.
• Creating diagrams of computer network topologies that show how devices are connected.
• Engineering Performance and progress reporting.
• Value engineering and Material/ Cost savings. VO estimation and cost analysis.
• Proactively work with Risk assessment and Mitigation plan, System design and Engineering.
• Coordination with Client & Internal Project team to meet the deliverables.
• Candidate shall be the SPOC to discuss, explain, review the design documents with client and get client approval.
