Software Developer (Embedded)

Base Location: Vadodara (Gujarat)

Salary Range : 16 Lpa

Age: 30+

Qualification:

o Min. Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering

Overall Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development.

Description The Software Developer develops solutions and components for customers according to requirements following agile processes.

Position within Line

Organization The Senior Software Developer is member of a Software Engineering Team and reports to the Team Leader of this team.

Responsibilities Responsible, holistic development and maintenance of embedded software for automation products

Supporting the creation of product requirements, UseCases and the system architecture

Joint creation of software architecture with other team members

Independent creation of software design

Coordination with colleagues in system and product architecture

Independent implementation of the design (programming, integration with hardware, debugging, development documentation)

Independent creation of whitebox tests for quality assurance (verification)

Independent execution of source code and document reviews together with other developers

Creation of release-ready software products from the software artifacts developed in the team

Support for product and system verification

Error investigation, debugging and bug-fixing and cooperation with the support department

Provide bug fixes and document bug fixes in the bug tracking system

Evaluate and write patent specifications

Supporting the creation and maintenance of CI/CD environments

Dealing with third party software components & licenses (commercial & open source)

Skills

Advanced knowledge in the programming and scripting languages used.

Methodological knowledge in the areas of software architecture and software design

Knowledge in the area of automation technology especially embedded products

Hardware knowledge in the area of Controller and IO-circuits

Good knowledge in the area of software test methods
