Job Description
Position: SAP Technical Lead
Location: Bangalore
Notice Period: 15 days to 30 days
Role & responsibilities
- As a Center of Excellence (COE) architect accountable for all SAP technical areas focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance, RBA, Basis, security and supporting of complex SAP Application and Integration features
- You will be responsible for driving and influencing technical design decisions for various SAP solutions across all modules of SAP S/4 HANA with a team of Subject Matter Experts, Architects, and Implementation partners.
- Update and review global development standards, processes and strategies, and configuration standards and processes
- Develop and manage process to optimize SAP Security (User Establishment, Authentication and Security Role Assignment)
- Develop and manage our SAP Client Structure and Transport Path. Ensure identified Dev / Test / QA Clients are configured, deployed, and refreshed in line with development cycle
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for system activities and ensure change control is followed as necessary
- Work with internal IT teams and implementation partners in technical design, delivery, and deployment of solutions in ERP business transformation, upgrade and support projects
- You should provide technical guidance, mentoring, and follow SAP best practices in the provision of SAP solutions and associated services to SMC2 business units
- Understand existing business processes, business requirements and plan technology architecture and solutions in line with SAP best practices
- You will also be providing support for and coordinate improvements and break / fix issues for the SAP applications with an emphasis on SD, MM, FI and other modules as needed.
- Provide day to day system/process support to users in coordination with the corporate support team
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive SAP Technical experience with at least 3 or more focused on SAP full life-cycle Implementations/SAP Transformation/SAP Integration.
- Hands on experience in technical coding in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA (ABAP, UI5, etc.) for custom RICEFW developments
- Working knowledge in ABAP enhancements, ABAP Proxies, RFC, IDocs, ALE configuration, Partner profiles, Ports, Enhancements, error processing, troubleshooting.
- Experience in different integration techniques - e.g. File based, Web Services, SOAP and REST based API's, etc.
