Job Description
Job Summary:
Rishabh Engineering is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Civil & Structural Engineer with a strong command of AVEVA E3D to support industrial projects in oil & gas, petrochemicals, and power sectors. The role involves planning, designing, and modeling of civil, steel, and foundation structures using E3D in accordance with project and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform civil & structural design and modeling using AVEVA E3D for foundations, pipe racks, equipment structures, buildings, and platforms.
- Develop and review design deliverables including GAs, RC detailing, structural steel drawings, fabrication drawings, and MTOs.
- Ensure models are compliant with project specifications, engineering standards (ACI, AISC, IS codes), and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Process) to integrate structural design into overall plant layout.
- Provide inputs for civil calculations, structural analysis, and load assessments.
- Review vendor drawings and interface with third-party design consultants where applicable.
- Participate in design reviews, model reviews (using Navisworks or SPR), and resolve structural clashes.
- Support construction teams with design clarifications, material take-offs, and field issue resolution.
- Ensure design meets local statutory and environmental guidelines.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in AVEVA E3D for civil and structural 3D modeling.
- Good knowledge of STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or other structural analysis and detailing tools.
- Understanding of international and Indian standards (IS, ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocode).
- Experience in design of RCC and steel structures, foundations for static and rotating equipment, and industrial buildings.
- Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and interface across disciplines.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills in multi-location project setups.
Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in civil & structural engineering with at least 2+ years hands-on in AVEVA E3D.
- Experience working on EPC/EPCM projects in sectors like oil & gas, chemical, power, or infrastructure.
- Familiarity with client standards such as Shell DEP, Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, or Chevron is a plus.
Preferred:
- Project exposure in modular, brownfield, or revamp environments.
- Experience with SmartPlant Review (SPR), AVEVA Review, or similar 3D review tools.
- Strong report writing and documentation skills.
