Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Node.js Developer to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance server-side applications using Node.js.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript is a plus.
Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
Sound understanding of RESTful API and/or GraphQL API design.
Proficiency with databases both SQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and NoSQL such as MongoDB, Redis.
Experience working with authentication & authorization such as JWT, OAuth2.
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD tools, and version control systems like Git.
Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
Familiarity with WebSockets, event-driven architecture such as Kafka, RabbitMQ.
Exposure to DevOps tools and Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform and Ansible.
Unit testing experience with Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks.
Contribution to open-source or personal projects on GitHub is a plus.
