Responsible to lead the finance process and system design for OneStream and any other business applications.
Senior Stakeholder Management
Change management and enhancements to existing and new OneStream applications.
Participate and/or lead any business applications related projects and BAU work based on the business needs and suitability.
Maintain user documentation, including training materials and user guides.
Maintain the Excel-based data upload templates.
Deliver ad-hoc end-user training, as required.
Provide additional guidance to resolve issues arising from a gap in user knowledge / understanding.
Provide support for data import related queries - e.g. establishing and explaining the data lineage of particular datapoints within the OneStream application.
Manage the process for loading, reviewing and locking the monthly exchange rates, and resolve any issues arising.
Configure the confirmation rule tolerances and settings.
Undertake regular application backups.
Manage the multiple development, test and Production applications across the environments, including the creation deletion of apps, retention of data and use of infrastructure resources.
Manage automated data integration processes - e.g. starting and stopping folder polling operations or reviewing the status of loads.
Liaise with the technical and functional teams who are responsible for the data integrations from source systems, answering their queries and supporting their processes.
Liaise with the DBAs for the creation of new database tables, database copying and renaming.
Maintain the integrated chart of accounts (CoA) and liaise closely with key Finance stakeholders.
Assist users to submit change requests, including the process and the details required.
Interpret the requirements of change requests and convert these into appropriate systems solutions - providing options / recommendations to identify the optimum solution for the desired outcome.
Manage the pipeline of change requests, including estimates of the effort required, identification and allocation of appropriate resources, prioritisation and agreement of timelines for implementation.
Attend the Solution OneStream Design Authority.
Medium-to-high complexity configuration changes, including the writing of complex business rules from scratch.
Identify all interdependencies of a change request, to ensure all impacted components are updated and tested appropriately.
Ensure appropriate governance and controls are followed during development, including independent review and sign-off, use of rollback methodologies, etc.
Ensure the appropriate release cycle is followed, including implementation and testing in Dev, UAT and Prod applications / environments where applicable.
Undertake a full data reconciliation to validate that historic data has not been inadvertently impacted by changes.
Identify impact of incidents on current reporting processes and ensure appropriate severity level is assigned.
Maintain regular communication with users and key stakeholders, in order to understand the impact and to keep them informed of incident status.
Undertake investigations to identify the cause of incidents and responsibility for resolution.
Where responsibility is within the OneStream support team, undertake appropriate activities to resolve the incident - such as recycling or restarting the OneStream servers.
Where responsibility for resolution is outside the OneStream support team, raise tickets with external support (e.g. OneStream, TCS, Tech M, local IT) and liaise closely with them to assist with issue investigation and resolution.
Maintain the processes controls document and the risk control matrix.
Participate in the annual SOX review, including the delivery of process walkthroughs to auditors and the provision of requested documentary evidence.
Perform monthly reviews of OneStream audit reports, covering data entry by admins and changes to security access, metadata and rules, cube views, confirmation rules, mappings, user groups and user access.
Manage the relationships between OneStream support and other key IT teams such as DBAs, Networks, Cloud Infrastructure and End-User Support.
Review change requests raised by the infrastructure teams (e.g., server patching) and approve / deny where applicable. Co-ordinate with all relevant stakeholders from Finance and IT and ensure any impact on end-users or reporting periods is protected where applicable.
