Job Description
Morning shift - 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM
Afternoon shift - 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Night Shift - 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM(ready to work in rotational shift)
What does a successful Specialist, Quality Assurance Engineering do at Fiserv?
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will engage in acceptance testing activities, which include participating in design sessions, creating test deliverables, executing tests, and logging defects. You will also report testing statuses and escalate issues to test management. You will be responsible for monitoring and executing test activities across projects of varying sizes, identifying and automating possible repetitive test scenarios to enhance efficiency.
What you will do:
- Provide environment support services for specific applications and related modules.
- Prepare test data for unit testing, regression testing, system testing, and production parallel testing.
- Participate in daily status calls to discuss project updates.
- Support batch testing and resolve any technical issues encountered.
- Document and communicate defects to the team and stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation of test plan artifacts.
- Work in rotational shifts as required.
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of strong experience in a mainframe environment; proficient in TSO, ISPF, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and Endevor.
- Strong understanding of CA tools CA7, CA-VIEW, etc.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of file transmission tools such as FTP/NDM.
- Adhere to standards and controls to ensure the quality of outcomes.
- Good understanding of the payments and banking domain, with experience working on applications processing sensitive financial data.
- Proven technical analysis skills and Testing automation mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
What would be great to have:
- Strong knowledge of CA7 and batch monitoring.
- Exposure to automation processes.
- Familiarity with the REXX tool.
