Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Engineer and construct automation scripts utilizing open-source tools such as Selenium.
- Customize Selenium for diverse integrations.
- Create Custom Test Automation Framework and Documentation Library
- Work in tandem with QA analysts and software developers to devise effective strategies and test plans.
- Implement and evaluate test cases, both manual and automated.
- Document testing stages and defects through comprehensive logs.
- Communicate bugs and errors to the development teams.
- Provide assistance in diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Help evaluate other Test Automation tools to be integrated in the Test Automation Framework setup.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in automation testing. Or (4-5 Yrs if candidate is really good and ready to put efforts ). This is a lead role, so we need one who has good hands-on experience and excellent lead capabilities
- Proficiency in developing and implementing Selenium and Cucumber (good Knowledge) -based Automation Frameworks with Java .
- Experience with Jira Xray for test management configuration.
- Expertise in utilizing Jira.
- Ability to articulate clear, concise, and thorough test plans and cases.
- Practical experience withautomated testing tools, including but not limited to Selenium.
- Robust programming capabilities in Java ( very good in Java- Can reuse the code).
- Acquaintance with Agile practices and the SDLC.
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent Lead capabilities
- Knowledge of REST API (with Rest Assured Automation)
- Understand test plan, can automate it, the one who has good exposure of agile Practices
Good to have -
- Experience of AS400
- Insight into continuous testing and integration within DevOps (Jenkins) pipelines.
