Cognizant Hiring for Cloud Solutions Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
System Design and Implementation:
Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement advanced cloud solutions with IaaS, PaaS or SaaS model.
Troubleshooting and Support
Diagnose and resolve complex tier III technical issues related to cloud systems and network infrastructure, providing timely and effective support to clients.
Continuous improvement of systems based on best practice recommendations.
Security and Compliance:
Working with the Cyber team, implement security best practices, ensuring systems and networks adhere to industry standards
Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting and knowledge sharing with Operations and Services teams.
Technical Leadership:
Act as a subject matter expert and mentor for junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge transfer.
Project Management:
Lead and participate in IT projects, managing timelines, budgets, and expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud solutions eng
Proficiency in system and network administration, including Linux and Windows environments.
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Industry certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
