Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Test Cases:
Design and execute test cases based on requirements to ensure software functions correctly.
- Identify and Report Defects:
Identify and document software defects, working with development teams to resolve them.
- Collaborate with Teams:
Work with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align testing efforts with project goals.
- Maintain Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of test results, defects, and test cases.
- Regression Testing:
Conduct regression testing to ensure that new updates don't break existing functionality.
- Participate in Meetings:
Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress and share insights.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing. Mandatory Core banking domain knowledge, should have worked in modules likes payments, CRM and LMS
- QA Methodologies: Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Test Case Design: Ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases.
- Defect Reporting: Experience in identifying, documenting, and reporting defects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB).
- Tools: Experience with testing tools, such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Agile/Scrum: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
- SQL Knowledge: Good to have SQL knowledge.
- API Testing: Good to have API testing knowledge.
