About the Role
Were looking for .Net API Engineers with 35 years of experience to join our modernization team. In this role, you'll contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs using .NET Core and C#. You'll collaborate closely with architects and engineering leads to deliver cloud-native solutions as part of a strategic platform transformation.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are transforming a major payments platform by replacing legacy SQL Server stored procedures with a modern C# API-based architecture. The program incorporates AI and Generative AI technologies to enhance development speed, quality, and future scalability. Its an ideal opportunity to gain hands-on experience with next-generation technologies while shaping a platform used at scale.
 
What Youll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain reusable and secure APIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with architectural goals
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization
  • Implement modern authentication and security practices (OAuth2, JWT, API keys, WAF)
What Youll Bring (58 years' experience)
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET Core
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API development
  • Familiarity with SQL Server stored procedures and legacy modernization
  • Understanding of microservices, modular architecture, and cloud-native development
  • Strong debugging, unit testing, and version control skills (Git/Azure Repos)
  • Exposure to secure coding and scalable system design
