Job Description

Role: Design Engineer (EV Product Design)

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

Education : BE - Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical

Tools Required: UGNX with Teamcenter

Job Location: Coimbatore

Roles & responsibilities

Design and develop casting components and EV-related mechanical systems using UGNX (Unigraphics).
Created and modified 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings adhering to GD&T and industry standards.
Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and validation to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
Expertise in casting design (sand casting, die casting, etc.) and EV product development.
Hands-on experience with Teamcenter PLM for CAD data management.
Basic knowledge of SAP modules (BOM creation, engineering changes).
Exposure to electric vehicle components (battery enclosures, motor housings, etc.).
Familiarity with simulation tools (Ansys, HyperWorks) for structural/thermal analysis.
