Job Description

Role: Design Engineer (EV Product Design)

Experience : 3 to 5 Years

Education : BE - Mechanical / Automobile / Electrical

Tools Required: UGNX with Teamcenter

Job Location: Coimbatore

Roles & responsibilities

• Design and develop casting components and EV-related mechanical systems using UGNX (Unigraphics).
• Created and modified 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings adhering to GD&T and industry standards.
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and validation to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
• Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
• Expertise in casting design (sand casting, die casting, etc.) and EV product development.
• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter PLM for CAD data management.
• Basic knowledge of SAP modules (BOM creation, engineering changes).
• Exposure to electric vehicle components (battery enclosures, motor housings, etc.).
• Familiarity with simulation tools (Ansys, HyperWorks) for structural/thermal analysis.
