Job Title : Iteration Manager Or Technical Scrum master
Job Description
- 10+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong background in AWS cloud-native SaaS product development.
At least 3+ years of recent experience as a Scrum Master / Project Manager in an agile project. Experience in being a Scrum Master for geographically distributed teams would be great to have.
Strong technical know-how of AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS X-Ray.
Experience with teams having delivered observability and telemetry tools and practices, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, distributed tracing, and performance monitoring.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve their goals.
Demonstrated ability to drive technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile development teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and DevOps Engineers to define product requirements, prioritize backlog items, and plan sprint deliverables.
Run sprints for the team, maintain JIRA hygiene and conduct scrum rituals, uphold engineering and delivery excellence.
Key deliverables: schedule and capacity plan, drive status meetings reporting accomplishments, risks & issues, dependencies, path to green etc.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in resolving impediments for them when designing, implementing, and optimizing AWS cloud-native SaaS products, with a focus on observability, telemetry, and API gateway capabilities.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation within the development teams, encouraging experimentation and sharing of best practices.
