Technical Lead- Data Engineering @ Azilen

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data engineering.
  
• Must have extensive hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse/Fabric, Databricks, etc.) for data engineering.
  
• Must have extensive hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse/Fabric, Databricks, etc.) for data engineering.
  
• Must have strong hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using various ETL/ELT tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
  
• Must have proven hands-on experience in data migration projects, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  
• Solid understanding of database systems (both relational and NoSQL).
  
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Data Engineers.
  
• Define and implement the data engineering strategy and architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust and efficient data pipelines using Cloud-based technologies.
  
• Oversee the management and optimization of our Big Data platforms and infrastructure.
  
• Drive data quality initiatives and implement data governance policies.
  
• Lead data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption
  
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  
• Evaluate and adopt new data engineering tools and technologies.
  
• Ensure adherence to best practices for data security and compliance.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues.
  
• Mentor and coach junior data engineering team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  
• Participate in the planning and execution of data-related projects.
