We are looking for a self-motivated senior engineering manager to lead a large cross functional team in ensuring that Guidewire is always shipping quality products.

Job Description

What you get to do

Attract, retain, develop, and motivate top-notch engineering talents
Develop and implement a comprehensive end-to-end testing strategy that aligns with business objectives and goals.
Establish and be directly responsible for the quality metrics across multiple product portfolios.
Establish appropriate quality standards and enforce them via automation.
Drive build, buy, and deprecation decisions for quality tooling and frameworks
Develop and own the quality architecture.

What we like you to have

15+ years of Software Development or SDET experience in SaaS and/or PaaS
8+ years of experience in managing Test Engineers including performance and career management
4+ years of managing multiple testing teams
An analytical mindset and a strong bias toward automation
Prior programming experience in Java, Go, Python or any high level languages
Proficiency in public cloud technologies (AWS preferably), Containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD systems, and DevOps practices
Solid understanding of system design principles, distributed systems and architecture
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying technical information to all sorts of audiences.
BS or MS degree (in Computer Science or Math)

Something good to have

BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Generative AI
