Position: Sr. Network Engineer with Juniper Firewall experience
Location: Gurgaon
Full time permanent position
Experience: 6 to 10 years
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Juniper firewall, JUNOS security director, Juniper switch, Cisco switch, Meraki wi-fi, and Pulse Connect Secure. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with BGP routing protocol, NAT, STP, security policies, IPsec, and SSL VPN technologies.
Role & responsibilities
Network Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure using Juniper and Cisco switches.
Configure and troubleshoot Juniper firewalls to ensure optimal network security.
Pulse Connect Secure:
Administer Pulse Connect Secure platform for secure remote access.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Pulse Connect Secure VPN solutions.
Routing and Switching:
Implement and optimize BGP routing protocol for efficient network traffic.
Ensure seamless integration of routing protocols within the network architecture.
Security Policies:
Develop and enforce security policies to safeguard the network infrastructure.
Regularly assess and enhance security measures to mitigate potential threats.
VPN Technologies:
Configure and manage IPsec and SSL VPN solutions.
Provide support for remote connectivity and troubleshoot VPN-related issues.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide effective networking solutions.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions into the overall IT infrastructure.
Preferred candidate profile
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor or Masters degree.
Relevant certifications such as JNCIA, JNCIS, CCNA, and Pulse Secure certifications are highly desirable.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on Juniper and Cisco technologies.
Hands-on experience with Pulse Connect Secure and other VPN technologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in configuring and managing Juniper and Cisco switches.
Extensive knowledge of BGP routing protocol, NAT, STP, IPsec, and SSL VPN.
Familiarity with security policies and best practices.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.
