Job Description
As a WordPress Developer at Ignatiuz, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing WordPress websites and applications. Youu2019ll be responsible for building custom themes, developing powerful plugins, and integrating third-party APIs to enhance functionality. You will also focus on ensuring that all solutions are secure, efficient, and scalable, while continuously improving user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client requirements.
- Implement and integrate third-party APIs to enhance site functionality, such as payment gateways and external data sources.
- Optimize WordPress sites for performance, focusing on fast load times, scalability, and minimal server resource usage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring smooth functionality and user experience.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the highest quality of work.
- Follow security best practices in all development processes, ensuring that all custom features and third-party integrations are secure.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and enhancements to existing WordPress sites and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and implement them effectively.
- Stay current with WordPress trends, technologies, and development best practices to drive innovation.
Requirements- Proven experience in WordPress theme development, including custom theme creation and modification.
- Strong expertise in custom plugin development, understanding of hooks, actions, and filters within WordPress.
- Solid experience with API development and third-party API integrations.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Understanding of WordPress REST API and how to integrate it with external applications.
- Experience working with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong knowledge of WordPress performance optimization techniques (e.g., caching, database query optimization).
- Familiarity with security practices for WordPress, including SQL injection prevention, XSS, and CSRF.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and provide efficient, scalable solutions.
- Problem-solving mindset: Comfortable debugging and resolving technical issues, even when working with legacy code.
- Testing and quality assurance expertise, ensuring that all code is thoroughly tested and bugs are resolved before deployment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in WordPress theme development, including custom theme creation and modification.
