DevOps Engineer @ Auriga It

Auriga IT is looking for a Devops Engineer to join our team who is driven to make a difference. You will be responsible for handling the IT infrastructure as per the business needs of the code which can be deployed in a hybrid multi-tenant environment which needs continuous monitoring of the performance.

Responsibilities

• Design-Implement a secure, scalable, cost-effective architecture on AWS/Azure/Google Cloud based on customer needs with best practices.
• CI/CD Pipeline through GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipeline, GitLab Pipeline, Jenkins or other available options.
• Configure centralized configuration management using tools like Ansible, Shell scripting and/or Python scripts.
• Implement automated backups.
• Manage and Configure Observability platform for Logging, Alerts/Alarms act on any outages/incidents.
• Ensure that the infrastructure is secured and all access mediums are secured as well.
• Manage permissions, backup and performance across different databases like MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL Databases etc.
• Should be able to manage, optimize, and secure production servers ensuring high availability.
• Understand client requirements, propose solutions and ensure delivery.
• Coordinate with development teams to fix issues, and release new code.
• Innovate and actively look for improvements in overall infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, with at least 2-5 years exp in Devops domain.
• Should have worked on various AWS services like ECS(Fargate/EC2), IAM and Identity Center , RDS, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, EKS etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with Python.
• Well-versed with shell scripting.
• Well-versed with Web-Servers (Nginx, Apache etc) , Databases.
• Good knowledge of at least one cloud provider(preferably AWS) and working experience. Good knowledge of networking, security aspects, and managed services provided by Cloud.
• Well-versed with Kubernetes

Nice to have

• Prior experience in managing infrastructure for public facing web-applications in Air-Gapped Environment.
• Prior experience in handling client communications.
• Knowledge of programming languages and databases.
• Terraform experience is a plus
