Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of engineering and construction projects (concept, design, procurement, execution, commissioning, qualification, and handover).
- Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and scope.
- Manage project risks, scope changes, and critical timelines.
- Lead project meetings with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
Engineering Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership in process, mechanical, HVAC, cleanroom, utilities, automation, and facility design aligned with pharmaceutical regulations (GMP, FDA, EMA).
- Develop and implement engineering standards and procedures.
- Lead the development and review of technical documentation (URS, DQ, P&IDs, layouts, specifications).
Team Management:
- Supervise and mentor project engineers, designers, and technical staff.
- Allocate resources efficiently across multiple concurrent projects.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance reviews.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Validation, Production, and HSE teams to ensure project integration.
Budget & Procurement:
- Prepare project budgets, CAPEX justifications, and cost estimates.
- Manage procurement of equipment, materials, and services in coordination with the procurement team.
Compliance & Quality:
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with GMP, FDA, EMA, ISO, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Support commissioning, qualification, and validation efforts.
Preferred candidate profile
Candidates from pharma engineering companies would be prefered.
