We are looking for a skilled PHP CMS Developer who is dedicated to the craft, writes code that they are proud of, and can hit the ground running. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, unit testing, and launching.
Responsibilities:
1. Write clean, well-designed code.
2. Produce detailed specifications.
3. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
4. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
5. Follow industry best practices.
6. Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
7. Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
8. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
9. Integration of data storage solutions.
Qualifications:
1. Proven software development experience in PHP.
2. Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, JQuery, etc.
3. Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services.
4. Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, reCAPTCHA, PayPal, etc).
5. Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
6. Experience working with WordPress CMS platform.
7. Understanding of PHPs fully synchronous behavior.
8. Understanding of MVC design patterns.
9. Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
10. Familiarity with MySQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
11. Knowledge of WooCommerce integration with WordPress.
12. Experience with working with source/version control repositories like SVN/Bitbucket/Github.
13. Good communication skills
14. Good to have experience with Drupal as well.
Experience: 2-4 years
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills: PHP, WordPress, Drupal, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, JQuery, MySQL/NoSQL databases, MVC design patterns, Object-oriented programming.
The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work in a team as well as independently.
