Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- To ensure production activities as per daily production plan and meet delivery schedule
- To decide and implement the disposition action, in case of defects.
- Implementation of decided corrective actions.
- Line balancing and reshuffling of manpower for effective utilization of resources.
- Availability of parts/components
- To ensure work as per standard, drawing and implement corrective actions for any feedback.
- To coordinate with other related areas/functions to maintain on time deliveries to subsequent activity with specified quality norms.
- To monitor, ensure and improve the skill level of operators by way of better preparation and distribution of jobs or relevant training.
- To achieve prescribed targets.
- To ensure proper utilization of man, materials, machine.
- Implement IATF 16949 activities and maintain relevant records.
- To implement and maintain 5S practices on the shop floor.
- To maintain daily production records.
- To ensure safety and discipline in the section.
- To identify and monitor implementation of new systems and technologies for continual improvement.

1. Knowledge of wiring harness manufacturing process
2. Manpower Utilization
3.Good Analytical Skills
4.Good Communication Skills
