Job Description
As a Software Development Engineer at Geckos Business Solutions Pvt Ltd, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with an experienced team developing e-commerce and other web-based technology solutions. You will be responsible for defining, designing, and developing frontend, and backend data flows, and interactions across various components of technology solutions. In addition, you will participate in code reviews, and documentation, and be responsible for working closely with your team to deliver technology solutions at the highest quality and within committed timelines.
Hybrid work opportunity for applicants residing in Hyderabad, Telangana, or Vizag, Andhra Pradesh locations only.
Required Experience, Skills, and Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree with a good academic record.
2. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a software engineer:
- working with both frontend and backend web development (PHP and MySQL);
- developing responsive frontend UI using (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap); and,
- designing, planning, and delivering software platforms on a schedule.
3. Hands-on experience with backend development, scripting, web server management, MySQL, SQL, RDBMS, and data modeling.
4. Must possess an understanding of security principles and how they apply to web-based technology solutions.
5. Must be knowledgeable of source code control Git/SVN, etc.
6. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and mobile application development (iOS/Android) is a required.
7. Experience with AI and ML.
8. Python experience required.
9. Experience with payment integration and APIs required.
