Senior Software Developer (f/m/d)
Identifier: INST-SSD-PLM
Location: Trivandrum
For our office in Trivandrum, dSPACE is looking for creative and motivated professionals. You will contribute to the design, development, and upkeep of our IT Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution, taking on a pivotal role throughout the entire development journey - from analyzing requirements to implementing solutions and ensuring seamless deployment.
We offer you the position of Senior Software Developer to contribute to cutting-edge PLM solutions, which helps to manage dSPACE products seamlessly throughout their lifespan, from concept to prototype and beyond. As part of the team, you will be responsible for advancing PLM development utilizing the CIM database or comparable tools. You will work closely with engineering teams and hardware departments to identify their requirements and translate them into detailed and actionable technical specifications. In doing so, you can expect a variety of exciting, challenging and diverse tasks that you will solve together as a team.

Your Tasks
- You design, develop, and implement PLM solutions to meet evolving business requirements
- You customize and configure PLM entities, workflows, processes, and plugins for optimization
- You conduct thorough code reviews to ensure performance standards and best practices
- You collaborate with Engineering Services, Hardware teams to realize PLM solution implementations
- You provide technical leadership, guiding and mentoring the team toward excellence
Your Qualifications
- You have a B.Tech/M.Tech university degree in Computer Science/Electronics and Communication, with minimum 5 years of experience and above
- You have strong proficiency in Python, SQL
- You have an understanding in PLM using CIM database or similar tools
- You are familiar with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, as well as development on Windows and Linux Platforms
- You are familiar with Agile software development and use of Azure DevOps and Git
- You have very good organizational skills and has experience in requirements engineering and stakeholder management
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
