Job Description
- We are seeking an ideal candidate with strong problem-solving skills, experience in Perl development, and a proactive approach to managing technical debt while enhancing system reliability.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proficient in Perl programming, with experience managing and modernizing web applications.
- Strong understanding of web application development and maintenance using Perl, Postgres or any RDBNS, and Python.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and services on AWS or similar cloud, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ and caching mechanisms like Redis.
- Solid debugging skills, including the use of logs, profiling tools, and runtime analysis.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Proven ability to manage dependencies, update libraries, and maintain secure, compliant systems.
- Familiarity with integrating and maintaining heterogeneous systems, such as Python components within a Perl-based application.
Education/Specific Knowledge
- Bachelor s or Above Degree in any discipline
