Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in automating, scaling, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in containerization, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), monitoring, and end-to-end DevOps lifecycle management, along with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
- Deploy and manage containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Handle version control and automation using Git, GitLab CI/CD, and related tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of systems.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams for smooth deployment and release cycles.
- Implement event-driven auto-scaling strategies using Kubernetes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 35 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SonarQube for code quality analysis.
- Strong experience with GitLab pipelines and automation.
- Knowledge of Ceph or other distributed storage systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes event-driven auto-scaling (e.g., KEDA or custom solutions).
- Exposure to service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) is a plus.
- DevOps certifications (AWS DevOps, CKAD, CKA, etc.) are an advantage.
