Requirements 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM Module (Functional) including experience in full-cycle implementations and support. A bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Hands-on experience in SAP MM Configuration, Implementation, and Support for multiple end-to-end SAP MM projects (implementation or support). Experience in integrating SAP MM with other modules such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), SAP PP (Production Planning), and third-party systems (e.g., Coupa, Ivalua, GEP, Zycus, Ariba). Proficient in configuring SAP MM modules, including Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Goods Receipt, Stock Transfer, Purchase Orders, Contract Management, and RFQs. Knowledge of procurement processes like Request for Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Verification (IV), and Material Valuation. Proficient in unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for SAP MM configurations and integrations. Experience troubleshooting issues in SAP MM and providing solutions through debugging or configuration changes.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Work closely with procurement teams, IT, and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and map the existing procurement processes in SAP and third-party platforms. Gather functional and technical requirements for integrating SAP MM with procurement solutions (e.g., Coupa, Ivalua, GEP, Zycus), ensuring alignment with business goals and system capabilities. Evaluate integration methods, such as API, IDocs, or file-based interfaces, and define data flow between SAP MM and the third-party systems. Design the integration architecture to enable seamless communication between SAP MM and external procurement platforms Ensure that master data (material master, supplier data, purchase orders, etc.) in SAP is synchronized with the external platforms, ensuring consistency and avoiding discrepancies Configure SAPs middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI) or third-party integration tools for smooth data exchange between SAP MM and external systems. Set up specific integration points such as purchase requisition creation, purchase order transmission, goods receipt, and invoice receipt for seamless operations across systems. Conduct end-to-end integration testing for procurement processes like purchase order creation, goods receipt, invoicing, and payment across SAP and third-party platforms. Coordinate with business users to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate that business requirements are met. Identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring timely resolution of any data or transactional discrepancies. Troubleshoot any data mapping or transmission errors between systems, escalating complex issues to technical teams. Provide post-go-live support to monitor the integrations performance, addressing any issues that arise during daily transactions between SAP MM and third-party procurement platforms. Analyze any discrepancies in procurement transactions, material management, or invoices and work with teams to resolve issues promptly
