Job Title: Senior AI Engineer
Job Type: Fulltime
Experience Required: 6+ years
Shift - 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST
Location- 3 days Hybrid_ Pune
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist / Lead Data Scientist with expertise in AI
services and a strong understanding of product development and object-oriented programming.
This role will report to the Manager, Artificial Intelligence and be based out of Pune office. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in a similar domain, a proven track record of leading technical teams in India, and the ability to work closely with global teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven products that align with business goals and create significant impact.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain AI models and products that meet client requirements and deliver business value.
- Lead junior data scientists in executing projects, guiding them on processes, and ensuring best practices in AI development.
- Support the execution, maintenance, and enhancement of AI models and products.
- Apply software engineering principles, including object-oriented programming, to build scalable and maintainable AI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration of AI models into production systems.
- Optimize AI-driven products for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in AI technologies, software development practices, and methodologies to continuously improve AI capabilities.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
Work Experience and Education Requirements:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience applying machine learning techniques to solve complex data problems and developing AI-driven products.
- Strong experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) with Python, Java, or C++.
- Hands-on experience with software development, including version control (Git), CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and deep learning techniques, including LLMs and OpenAI frameworks.
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision applications.
- Proficiency in big data tools such as Spark and distributed computing frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with hands-on experience in deploying AI models in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast- paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing and developing AI-driven SaaS products.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Exposure to MLOps practices and model lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
