Preference :- Candidate having experience in IT Secured Technologies (Biometric, Face Recognition, etc) will be preferred.Base Location : AfricaObjectives Of This Role :- Lead the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.- Drive the government technology platforms in coordination with the technical team.- Candidates will be the technical and operational interface with the Government, Corporate business line.- He should understand Project requirements and lead technical consulting and support to define the solution in line with the technical teams.- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes- Candidate will organize technical lobbying/influence through customer/partners technical meetings, workshops, and solutions presentation.- Candidate will participate actively in the development of technical business for new solutions or services.- Candidate may handle the logging and updating of 'Opportunities' data to feed the Master Plan, including workload, milestones, and financials.- Candidate will be responsible for the "Engagement Review" to ensure a clear transfer of responsibility to the Delivery teams (including Project Management, Customer Service, Controlling)- He will ensure that all required solution management activities related to the Project.Responsibilities :- Candidate should have experience in Government liaisning.- Strong technical background in software development, software architecture, knowledge in IT architecture and solutions such as: Authentication, Signature with PKI), Biometrics is considered as a strong plus.- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :- Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2- Experience in developing platforms for internal processes- Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets.- Must be Fluent in English
