Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Networking & Security Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud-native and hybrid network architectures and security frameworks on Azure. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in core Azure networking services as well as security controls, governance, and threat protection aligned with cloud best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Networking Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Virtual Networks, subnetting, NSGs, UDRs, and Private Link.
- Configure and manage Azure Firewall, Application Gateway (WAF), and Load Balancers (Internal and External).
- Set up and manage VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, and hybrid network connectivity solutions.
- Enable network monitoring using Network Watcher, NSG Flow Logs, and Connection Monitors.
- Implement network segmentation, isolation, and traffic filtering policies.
- Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of networking resources.
Azure Security Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security architecture aligned with Zero Trust principles.
- Manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) using Azure Active Directory, RBAC, PIM, and Conditional Access.
- Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and Azure Security Center.
- Implement encryption, Key Vault, Managed Identities, and secure secrets management.
- Establish and enforce Azure Policy, Blueprints, and security baselines.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, compliance audits, and remediation tracking.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
5 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with 3+ years hands-on in Azure Networking and Security.
- Proven experience with:
- Virtual Network design,
- routing, DNS, and IP addressing
- Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancers
- Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Key Vault
- Azure AD (RBAC, MFA,Conditional Access, PIM)
- Network and security automation using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
