Job Description
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Santa Ana. Costa Rica or be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding.
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Should have at least 5 to 7 years of experience in project lifecycles on development & maintenance projects, estimation methodologies, quality processes.
- Should handle development/design projects using Java 17, J2EE, Spring, RESTful web services and microservices
- Should possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Should have proficiency in git
- Should plan, define and develop proof of concepts
- Should have exposure to cloud technologies
- Should have good understanding of unit testing methodologies and should conduct unit testing using automated unit test frameworks.
- Should possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on one of DB technologies, writing queries etc. Oracle, MySQL, PL/SQL or Postgres.
Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Knowledge of Observability and Monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana ,Prometheus)
Passionate about learning new technologies and enjoy a collaborative team environment
Experience with translating business use cases to technical solutions, user interface design and database structures.
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English langauge.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
