UI/UX Intern @ Spring Computing

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gather and evaluate user requirements effectively.


• Design and prototype user interfaces, ensuring seamless functionality and aesthetic appeal.


• Present design concepts and prototypes to internal teams and key stakeholders, incorporating feedback into iterative design processes.


• Identify and troubleshoot UX/UI issues, such as responsiveness and usability, to enhance overall user experience.


• Conduct user research activities, including usability testing and user interviews, to inform design decisions.


• Adhere to established style standards for fonts, colors, and images, maintaining brand consistency across all designs.


• Demonstrate a strong understanding of UX processes, design methodologies, and User-Centered Design (UCD) principles.


• Demonstrate strong understanding of UI Design Principles and design styles.


• Create Design system and follow it consistently across all designs.


• Eagerness to learn and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design.

Requirements

• Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field with a focus on UX/UI design.


• A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.


• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software.


• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to diverse audiences.


• Familiarity with user research methodologies, such as usability testing, persona development, and journey mapping.


• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles to ensure designs are
  usable by all individuals.


• Knowledge of responsive design principles to create interfaces that function seamlessly across
  various devices and screen sizes.


• Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, with a passion for crafting intuitive and
  visually appealing user experiences.
