Job Description
8:00 AM-5:00 PM (EST) Requirements and qualifications:
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, WordPress, Bootstrap, Basic of PHP.
- Good understanding of DB (MSQL, MySQLi, MariaDB, MongoDB etc.)
- Experience in website Migration, especially for WordPress.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
- Make sure to mention any frameworks, libraries, or any other technology relevant to your project.
- Carry out code refactoring and optimization of existing code.
- Document code, so other developers can understand and contribute to it.
Required skills:
- Technical knowledge in areas such as client-side components, server-side languages, web application frameworks and database management systems
- Experience with version control systems, and a thorough understanding of the architecture of web applications and web security and encryption.
- Attention to detail.
- A logical approach to problem solving.
- The ability to work independently and in mixed teams.
- Experience of development methodologies (such as Agile and Waterfall).
- The ability to manage a complex range of tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
