Job Profile

Sapiens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance & Load Testing Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves designing, developing, and executing performance tests while collaborating closely with cross-development teams to ensure application scalability and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

Pre-Requisites:

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a Performance Engineer.
• 5+ years of experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or OctoPerf.
• Experience in OctoPerf is an added advantage.
• 3+ years of experience working with web technologies and architectures.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including writing and executing complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, and AppDynamics.
• Experience with Linux platforms, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on technical skills, with the ability to deep-dive into performance issues.
• Proficiency in executing SQL queries to extract performance-related data.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Ability to conduct detailed root cause analysis for performance issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative and ownership.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Define and implement a comprehensive performance testing strategy for Sapiens applications.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance testing scenarios using various tools and scripting languages.
• Write and execute complex database queries to extract and analyze performance and data populations metrics.
• Perform in-depth root cause analysis of performance issues.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, suggesting effective tuning and remediation strategies.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, developers, and customers to ensure performance objectives are met and findings are effectively communicated.
• Generate and present detailed performance summary reports to key stakeholders.
• Deploy, monitor, and analyze application performance using APM tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, and AppDynamics.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate performance testing into the software development lifecycle and improve system efficiency.
