About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Python Django Developer with strong technical expertise and leadership abilities to join our growing team as a Team Lead. This role is ideal for someone passionate about backend development, data modeling, and team management. You will play a key role in designing and building scalable web applications, managing a team of developers, and driving project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of backend developers in delivering high-quality, scalable Django-based web applications.
- Architect, design, and implement efficient and reusable backend systems.
- Drive the data modeling process to ensure optimal database structures for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps, QA, and product managers.
- Review code, mentor junior developers, and ensure best practices in software development.
- Manage timelines, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across services and levels of the stack.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Skills:
- 810 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python and Django framework.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database schema design, and query optimization (PostgreSQL/MySQL preferred).
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Celery, Redis, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Exposure to front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for integration purposes.
