Job Description
- As a SAP ABAP Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP ABAP applications with a focus on SAP Fiori development
- Your expertise will contribute to the successful implementation and enhancement of SAP Fiori applications
- The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in ABAP programming (preferably OOABAP) with 4-6 years of experience, along with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in ODATA developments
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions,enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) in accordance with functional specifications and technical guidelines.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and UX/UI designers to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and translate them into SAP Fiori applications (ODATA developments).
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for SAP Fiori, including design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of SAP Fiori applications to improve system performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori-related issues and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including program specifications, test plans, and user manuals for SAP Fiori applications.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori technologies, tools, and best practices, and suggest improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP programming (OOABAP preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming concepts, including ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Objects, and BAPI/RFC integration.
- Familiarity with SAP development tools and technologies, including SAP NetWeaver and SAP ECC.
- Hands-on experience developing ODATA projects for FIORI applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
