Lead Google Tag Manager: Media Services

Omnicom Global Solutions, India

We have an exciting role to lead our Data Analysts team for one of Omnicoms largest advertising agency. This role will require to lead and drive world-class analytics solution in tag management & associated areas working with global brands and agency leaders. This role would be overall responsible for tag management delivery.

Responsibilities

This may be the right role for you if you have:

Google Tag Manager:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years in a technical role, hands on Exp. in implementing Analytics solutions across the GTM (Knowledge of Adobe Analytics stacks or other TMS is a plus)
  • Developing SDRs, data layers, DOM and implementing digital tagging strategies using TMS
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues & workarounds. (Ecommerce, Mobile, Web)
  • Conceptualize tagging projects from inception through completion
  • Experience in validation, QC & UAT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and manage comprehensive reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights into the performance of clients' marketing activities across multiple channels.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all data and analytics-related queries, ensuring the highest quality of deliverables through rigorous QA processes.
  • Develop and present data-driven insights, reports, and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, and other BI platforms.

Technical Expertise:

  • Expert in working with large databases and understanding end-to-end data processes. Proficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Skilled in designing reports from scratch and using BI tools like Tableau, Looker, Power BI, and others for efficient report generation. 
  • Strong ability to support business with ad-hoc queries and ensure quality and timely delivery.

 Leadership & Soft Skills:

  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex data insights to clients and stakeholders in a meaningful way.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a resourceful and self-motivated approach to challenges.
Qualifications

This is an exciting role & would Entail you to:

  • Develop and execute strategic analytics and tagging solutions
  • Managing large scale web and app digital analytics implementations and guide the team
  • Present solutions, insights, and results to clients and agency partners in meaningful ways
  • Support drafting project scopes of work and proposals as needed.
  • Identify new opportunities for product, process, technical workflows and enhancing methodologies
  • Help with the development and review of team documentation
  • Supporting junior members on the team to develop their technical skill and coaching to work through complex technical scenarios
  • Be on top of the latest analytics, cloud and marketing and advertising technology trends
