Must-Have Skills:
- BA Skills in RPA Domain: Ability to drive RPA processes and well-versed in creating PDDs.
- Communication Skills: Ability to articulate ideas clearly to clients and team members.
- Process Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-standard methodologies (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Past Experience: Strong background in document creation and process flow mapping.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn and effectively handle stakeholder relationships.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Team Leading Skills: Ability to manage teams in RPA projects.
- Pre-Sales Experience: Working knowledge of RFI, RFP, RFQ processes.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in specific industries such as Banking, Retail, Healthcare, etc.
- Technology Experience: Familiarity with automation tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere (AA), etc.
Assessment and Data Gathering Techniques:
- Workshops and Client Interviews:
- Conduct workshops to capture current-state processes and define automation opportunities.
- Interview clients to identify requirements and gather data on potential blockers.
- Documentation Review:
- Review and create PDDs, SDDs, PRDs, BRDs, user stories, and process flow maps.
- Document testing scenarios, exceptions, and process gaps.
- Testing and Validation:
- Validate scenarios with live use cases (during workshops, if required).
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage, including positive, negative, and edge cases.
- Collaboration Tools:
- Utilize tools like JIRA, Confluence for tracking issues, project progress, and process workflows.
- Risk and Dependency Assessment:
- Identify automation blockers and risks early on.
- Regularly assess dependencies with the development team and client SMEs.
- Workshops and SME Interaction:
- Drive workshops to understand processes deeply and ensure alignment with automation goals.
