Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Contract)
Location: Pune (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable)
Experience: 5 to 10 years
Industry: Banking/Financial Services (Banking domain experience is a plus)

Job Description:

• We are looking for experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Engineers (Contractors) to join our dynamic team for a key project in the banking domain.
• The ideal candidates will have a strong background in building scalable microservices using modern frameworks and containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications
• Implement scalable and performant systems using Akka or LEGOM Framework
• Work with Apache Pulsar for real-time data streaming
• Integrate databases using Slick Connector, with a focus on PostgreSQL
• Ensure search capabilities using ElasticSearch
• Manage CI/CD processes using GitLab and GitLab Pipelines
• Deploy and maintain applications on Kubernetes (K8s)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, testing, and performance optimization

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Akka or LEGOM Framework
• Proficient in Microservice Architecture and Containerized Applications
• Experience with Apache Pulsar and ElasticSearch
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and database integration using Slick
• Connector
• Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines, and Kubernetes (K8s)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and team collaboration abilities

Preferred:

• Prior experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain
