Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Job Title: Lead QA
Location: HYD or BLR - WFO on Hybrid Model (3 days in a week )
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in leading Quality Assurance teams (Minimum of 5+ team members)
- A minimum of 8+ years experience in manual testing and design test plan/ strategy and test cases
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in automation testing using UI (Selenium with Python/ Java/ C#) and Mobile automation (Appium with Python/ Java)
- Design and implemented different automation framework
Primary Skills (Must have experience):
- Experience in manual testing and design test plan/ strategy and test cases
- Experience in automation testing using UI (Selenium with Python/ Java/ C#) and Mobile automation (Appium with Python/ Java)
- Design and implemented different automation framework
- Knowledge of web application testing
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and automation testing
- Experience in evaluating tools as per project needs
- Disciplined approach to testing and documentation
- Ability to define and document best practices and standards and always on lookout of new ways to improving the QA process
- Experience in interacting with customers and understand their requirements
- Experience in creating quality dashboards and other metrics
- Experience with defect reporting and escalation procedures to Senior Management
- Strong organization, collaboration, and time management skills
- Must be good in mentoring team member
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Team-player attitude and the ability to work in a multi-tasking, cross-collaborative fast spaced environment, driving other people for the common goal
- Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly
- Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction
Secondary Skills:
- Certification in software testing or quality assurance.
- Experience with SQL query design
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
