Job Description
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications for financial systems
- Contribute to backend development, data processing, and API integration for Fintech products
- Assist in debugging, testing, and documentation of financial application code
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the security and performance of financial software
- Participate in agile development processes and code reviews with a focus on the financial domain
- Gain insight into the unique challenges and innovations in the Fintech industry
- Strong foundation in Python programming
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Bonus: Experience with financial concepts or APIs (e.g., payment gateways, banking APIs, cryptocurrency)
- Familiarity with web frameworks like Flask or Django (preferred)
- Basic understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related fields with an interest in Fintech
- Internship placement with a Fintech company in Chennai
- Exposure to the development of financial applications, APIs, and real-time systems
- Mentorship from experienced developers and Fintech industry professionals

Internship Overview:
We are offering a both paid and unpaid Python Development Internship starting 21 April 2025 for students and recent graduates with a strong interest in Fintech. Interns will be placed with one of our trusted Fintech partner organizations in Chennai, where they will work on live projects, learn from industry professionals, and gain valuable experience in the financial technology sector.
