Job Description
Job Descripon: Microso Dynamics 365 F&O Techno-Funconal Consultant. We are looking for a
Microso Dynamics 365 Finance & Operaons (F&O) Techno-Funconal Consultant who will be
responsible for the technical and funconal implementaon of Microso Dynamics 365 F&O,
ensuring seamless alignment with business processes and organizaonal goals. This role requires
experse in D365 F&O architecture, environment setup, custom development, system
opmizaon, and integraon using tools such as X++, .NET, Power Plaorm, and Azure services.
The ideal candidate will oversee system integraons, data migraons, and upgrades while ensuring
best pracces for performance and scalability. Addionally, the consultant will provide technical
experse during soluon design, environment setup, deployment, and post-implementaon support,
making them instrumental in the success of ERP iniaves.
Experience Required: 8 to 10 years
Key Responsibilies:
Contribute to the technical implementaon of Microso Dynamics 365 F&O, including
environment setup, module conguraon, data migraon, and deployment.
Assist in the evaluaon and selecon of ERP components during the discovery phase,
ensuring technical feasibility and business alignment.
Analyze and translate business requirements into technical designs and funconal
workows.
Ensure compliance with Microso best pracces and industry standards throughout the
implementaon lifecycle.
Manage D365 F&O environments, including development, tesng, and producon setups.
Establish and maintain Applicaon Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes, including
version control and release management using Azure DevOps.
Monitor and opmize system performance, ensuring stability and scalability.
Develop, test, and deploy customizaons and extensions for D365 F&O using X++, C#, and
.NET.
Build custom workows, plugins, and business logic to enhance standard ERP
funconalies.
Design and implement role-based security models, ensuring compliance with organizaonal
policies.
Create custom dashboards, reports, and analycs using Power BI, SSRS, or other reporng
tools.
Implement RESTful APIs, OData services, and Webhooks for seamless integraon with
external systems.
Strong experse in API integraon with third-party tools and services within the D365 F&O
environment.
Prociency in Azure tools, including Logic Apps, Azure Funcons, and Azure DevOps for
CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Power Plaorm tools like Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps.
Experse in SQL Server, ETL processes, and data migraon techniques.
Opmize database queries and indexing to ensure high performance for custom and
standard processes.
Customize forms, elds, and enes within D365 F&O to meet specic business needs.
Use Azure DevOps for version control, build pipelines, and automated tesng.
Perform reverse engineering and impact analysis for exisng customizaons during
upgrades or migraons.
Strong understanding of core D365 F&O modules such as Finance, SCM, HR, and
Manufacturing.
Ability to design and opmize business processes for ERP implementaon.
Experience in preparing and execung UAT plans and supporng go-live acvies.
Provide post-implementaon support, troubleshoong, and connuous improvements.
Required Skills:
Strong experse in Microso Dynamics 365 F&O (architecture, conguraon,
customizaon, and integraon).
Prociency in X++, C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Power Plaorm.
Experience in D365 F&O Data Management Framework (DMF) for data migraon and
integraon.
Knowledge of Microso Dynamics 365 Business Central is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Azure services (Logic Apps, Funcons, DevOps pipelines).
Experse in Power BI and SSRS for reporng and analycs.
Strong problem-solving and analycal skills.
Excellent communicaon and collaboraon skills to engage with technical and non-
technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage mulple tasks and deliver within deadlines.
