Job Description
Job Title: Senior Test Analyst- Savings Domain /CASA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Analyst with expertise in Savings products to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test plans, ensuring the quality and compliance of banking applications and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning & Strategy: Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Savings and Mortgage applications.
- Requirement Analysis: Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
- Test Execution & Defect Management: Conduct manual and automated testing, logging defects, and tracking them through resolution.
- Automation & Performance Testing: Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or other frameworks.
- Regression & Integration Testing: Perform end-to-end testing for Savings and Mortgage systems, ensuring seamless integration with banking platforms.
- Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensure testing aligns with regulatory requirements such as FCA, PRA, and GDPR for financial services.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Provide clear test reports, defect analysis, and status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in Savings Domain
- Plans & prepares tests to execute.
- Documents test results for traceability.
- Executes tests and keeps the status up to date.
- Documents defects to aid reporting.
- Configures test environments to execute tests.
- Escalates risks and blockers to the test manager.
- Ensure that their tests are picked up in Standard Reports and Closure reports.
- Work with the technology teams to continually improve the processes.
- Gains knowledge on COTS systems as needed to execute tests.
- Engages with stakeholders as needed to gain clarity of requirements or outputs.
- Shares knowledge and documents useful information uncovered for the benefit of the project.
- Creating a variety of test related reports for varying stakeholders and audiences.
- Raising, triaging, and resolving issues alongside deep dive issue investigation and replication.
- Works with other testers in the project as needed on complex testing tasks to upskill the group.
- Be an active contributing member in all relevant sprint ceremonies.
- Definition of test data and providing insight into data management and tooling.
- Support Defect and Production Incident triage and resolution.
