Job Description

Job Title: Senior System Administrator

Location: Hyderabad Work From Office

Shift Timings: Rotational

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve L2/L3 support tickets through the internal ticketing system.
• Provide daily technical support across desktops, laptops, data networks, and servers.
• Set up laptops and peripherals; troubleshoot advanced hardware/software/network issues.
• Install, configure, and test software applications, browsers, and operating systems.
• Perform diagnostics on systems to ensure full functionality and performance of IT assets.
• Train and support end users on hardware/software usage and best practices.
• (Good to have) Knowledge of backup processes, patch management, and antivirus tools.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, O365, and Microsoft Teams.
• Basic networking knowledge or hands-on experience (preferred).

Technical Expertise Required:

• Strong experience with laptop/desktop hardware and peripherals.
• Operating Systems: Windows 11, macOS.
• Proficiency in tools and software such as MS Office, Freshservice (or similar), Adobe, VPN clients, Microsoft Teams, browsers, and security/hardening tools.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting LAN and Wi-Fi networks.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified (MCP, MCSA, or similar)
• Cisco Certified (CCNA or equivalent)
• ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Certification

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Networking, or related field.
• 5 to 12 years of experience in a System/Desktop Support or Administration role.
• Prior experience in ITIL-based environments is a plus.
