HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Responsibilities
- 6 to 12 years 'relevant work experience
- 6 years' experience as a Network Security Engineer within a large scale (preferably multinational) technology services environment
- Should have experience primarily in Checkpoint Firewall.
- Should have experience in any of the firewalls Palo alto/ ASA.
- Experience in TAC environment is added benefit.
- Display a strong client service orientation
- Flexible in working 24/7 shift and good communication
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO WIN:
- We are into 24x7 operation handling tickets day-in & day-out where we function as a TAC for multi vendor firewall and other security products.
- Also, we do not have visibility to the client`s environment setup and yet responsible for troubleshooting by asking questions, gathering answers to those questions, thereon providing solutions via email, phone or mostly over remote sessions.
- 95 to 97 percent of the job involves troubleshooting and any change required is the result of that troubleshooting session e.g. minor corrections in the environment. We rarely do any changes instead suggest the user to perform them, if required.
- This is not a change management or deployment profile. However, we do perform bug scrubs, heath checks and hotfix/patch installation on client`s devices. Exceptionally major upgrades are done too.
