Location: Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai (Hybrid).
Experience: 2 to 3 years as a Scrum Master (preferably in AI/ML, product development, or R&D environments).
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Scrum Master to join our dynamic, innovation-driven environment. This role will focus on coordinating multiple cross-functional teams under two key initiatives: iBeam (Build & Modernize, Data & AI) and elsAi (AI Agents & Accelerators). These teams work on cutting-edge AI-powered tools, platforms, POCs, R&D efforts, and ideation pipelines designed to accelerate business growth for our customers.
As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in enabling agility, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful delivery across various squads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives for multiple teams.
- Coordinate product and R&D teams working on AI-powered tools, ensuring alignment of goals, dependencies, and timelines.
- Support Product Owners in backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint readiness.
- Track progress across initiatives from ideation and PoCs to productization, proactively removing blockers.
- Encourage experimentation and support agile best practices in both structured and research-focused environments.
- Enable cross-team collaboration and foster knowledge sharing between engineering and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams.
- Work closely with engineering, GTM, and operations stakeholders to improve delivery predictability and transparency.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and data-driven process refinements.
- Ensure timely documentation and reporting of progress, impediments, and outcomes to leadership.
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably with product development and/or R&D teams.
- Exposure to AI/ML projects, data platforms, or advanced analytics is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
- Experience coordinating multiple agile teams with interdependencies.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and servant leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt processes for innovative environments with evolving scope and exploratory work.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including developers, data scientists, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or SAFe.
- Background in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar.
