Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and analyze requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Proven experience in Java development and familiarity with Java frameworks
- Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
- Experience with database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications that are robust, scalable, and high-performing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure the alignment of software development with business objectives.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to project standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, including debugging and performance tuning of existing applications.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes and tools.
- Assist in the integration of applications with third-party services and APIs.
- Document development processes, code changes, and application workflows for future reference and training.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development methodologies and practices within the team.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing support and sharing knowledge to foster growth within the team.
