o9 Supply Planning Functional Consultant
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented o9 Supply Planning Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will leverage your deep understanding of supply chain planning processes and your extensive hands-on experience with the o9 Planning platform to design, configure, and implement best-in-class planning solutions for our clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their unique needs, translate them into functional requirements, and deliver solutions that drive significant improvements in efficiency, agility, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze supply chain planning requirements across demand, supply, inventory, and production planning.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and design documents for the o9 Planning platform.
- Configure and customize the o9 Planning platform to meet specific client needs, including master data setup, planning parameters, workflows, and user interfaces.
- Develop and execute test plans and scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of the implemented solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices in supply chain planning and how to leverage the o9 platform to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with technical teams, including data integration and development resources, to ensure seamless integration of o9 with other enterprise systems.
- Develop and deliver user training and documentation.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
- Stay abreast of the latest o9 platform updates, functionalities, and industry trends in supply chain planning.
- Contribute to the development of internal knowledge assets and methodologies related to o9 implementations.
- Potentially manage small to medium-sized implementation projects or workstreams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 8-10 years of experience in supply chain planning, with a strong focus on functional consulting and implementation of planning solutions.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes, including forecasting, demand management, supply network planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with data integration concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
