Job Description
The Sr. Software Quality Assurance Analyst will join our development team to assist with the development of our web applications. They should be a self-motivated, naturally inquisitive software quality assurance analyst with a high level of attention to detail and a passion for software testing.
- Verify that programs function according to requirements and conforms to established guidelines
- Ability to write, revise, and verify test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality software
- Create and execute database queries to confirm proper data placement during program operation
- Review new or modified programs, including documentation, diagrams, and flow charts, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines
- Reports and manages defects found during testing in an agile environment
- Able to provide written and verbal communication to developers on how to repeat software defects
- Identifies differences between established standards and user requests and suggest modifications to conform to standards
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent years of experience in related field
- Minimum 3-5 years software testing experience
- MS SQL experience required
- Previous work experience in a heavily regulated IT environment; HIPAA preferred
- Professional experience in MS technology, web apps, software development or manual testing required
- Ability to communicate and coordinate within a team
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Business office environment
- Ability to sit for up to 8 hours unassisted and work on PC screen
- Ability to prioritize in a multi-task environment
