Salesforce Developer (5 - 7 Years Experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Developer with 57 years of hands-on expertise in Salesforce development and customization. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying Salesforce solutions that drive business success. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce integrations, platform best practices and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components (Aura & LWC).
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP) and middleware tools.
- Optimize existing Salesforce implementations by refactoring code and improving system performance.
- Customize Salesforce standard features (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Manage deployments using tools like Gearset, Copado, or Change Sets.
- Ensure security best practices (profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules) are applied in the platform.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates (Seasonal Releases) and recommend improvements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 57 years of experience in Salesforce development and customization.
- Strong command of Apex programming, SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Expertise with Salesforce configuration (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, etc.).
- Good understanding of Salesforce Integration patterns (REST/SOAP API, Platform Events, External Services).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for Salesforce (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, etc.).
- Experience with Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, and other data management tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and governance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is mandatory.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or other certifications (Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service Lightning (FSL) is a plus.
- Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices specific to Salesforce ecosystems.
- Prior experience working with multinational clients or within a global delivery model.
